Fallball  Rules                 Updated 12/8/11

 

-       Set up and take down of bases will be a shared responsibility     

-    Format 7 Male & 3 Female

-         Player’s  must be on the line-up card to play in the game

-          Game time 1hr & 15min

-          No new inning to start after 1Hr & 5Min

  

-          5 Runs Per inning

-          Ladies can BUNT

-         Unlimited Courtesy runners (from any base), but must go through the line up completely

-          Mercy Rule is in Effect: (12 runs after 4 1/2 or 5 innings) 

-          May Bat as many MALES in a row as you want  

-    One (1) over the fence Home Run Per inning

-    No throwing a girl out at first base from the out field

NO Grace Period

-          BC NINE RULE IN EFFECT (there is an auto out)

                    (Fallball  8 will be used with only 1auto out)

1.      A team must start the game if they have 8 players with 1 auto out. 

2.      Must have 2 Females 

3.      With 9 Players you must have 3 Females 

4.      With 9 players there is still 1 auto out

5.       When the 9^th & 10^th players arrive you can insert the player into the Game

-          All other rules will follow the SPN Rule & SPNBC Policy Book

JJJJ LEAGUE  FEES are due the 4th week of play.  JJJJ

-          Must play in 5 League games to PLAY in PLAYOFFS

-          Ejection from a game will also carry another game suspension, that player must be on the bench to serve the suspension.

-          72 hr.  Notice for cancellations      

-          If a Team Forfeits a Game, the Team will be fined $30.00

-         If an umpire does not show up the game must start on time with a player filling in. The team will be credited with the umpire fee if they complete a full game. 

-         Scorebooks remain the property of the league and will be turned in at the end of the season, before you can play in the playoffs.   

-         Playoffs will be Nov.

-         Scores to be E-Mailed yankeefan15@shaw.ca Scores must be turned in within 48 Hours. Scores not turned in by either Team will be considered Forfeits. All forfeits come with a $30.00 Fine 

-         Teams whose performance bonds falls below $100 must top it back up to $100 before they can play there next Game.          

-          Dogs must be under control at all times and NEVER in the playing area or the Team will loose their $100 performance bond, 2^nd time team will be removed from the League without compensation.  

-         ANY TEAM CAUGHT USING ILLEGAL PLAYERS WILL LOSE THEIR PERFORMANCE BOND AND BE REMOVED FROM PLAYOFFS WITHOUT COMPENSATION.
